Your Digital Legacy: Planning for your Digital Identity beyond Life

Your Digital Legacy: Planning for your Digital Identity beyond Life

Description/Learning Objectives: You already know that establishing and maintaining your digital identity is important, but have you thought about what happens to it when you die? Just like life insurance, wills, and other important issues around death, the state of your digital identity is something for which you can plan. Join Kimberley to learn more about the practical steps that you can take to both preserve your digital legacy and ease the burden for friends and family. By the end of this learning opportunity, participants will be able to define “digital identity,” describe what can happen to your digital identity when you die; and list ways to incorporate your digital identity into your death-related planning. Due to classroom size, this session is limited to 10 participants. (1 CME credit) Register here: https://cmetracker.net/UVA/Publisher?page=pubOpen#/EventID/136118/
