Intro to RNASeq

Intro to RNASeq

This workshop will give an overview of start-to-finish RNAseq analysis including differential expression analysis with DESeq2. We will go over preprocessing, alignment and count matrix generation in Rivanna, use the recounts database to load publicly available pre-processed data, and use biomaRt to generate annotation tables. Then, we will do differential expression analysis in DESeq2, make plots to visualize significant gene hits, and check for outliers and batch effect. Finally, we will go over KEGG and GO pathway analysis.

This is NOT an Introduction to R class and MINIMUM prerequisites include: attendance at Introduction to R and Data Visualization with ggplot2, or experience with R and ggplot2.
