Research produces a wealth of files and each file evolves over the course of the project. In this workshop we will learn how to use version control software git to track changes and collaborate. We will also learn to generate dynamic documents using RMarkdown to weave together reporting text with executable R code to generate reports that are accessible by a wide audience. Finally we will demonstrate the benefits of sharing these reports and code via GitHub using the friendly git user interface in RStudio.
