Python + GenAI

Continue learning more about Python and discover how generative AI (GenAI) can assist in your programming tasks. We’ll start with a few tips on effectively using GenAI in coding and data analysis. Then we’ll use UVA-licensed Gemini to help produce Python code to explore and visualize a dataset. Attendees will receive prompts to follow along and practice during the session.

If you'd like to actively follow along, having basic knowledge of Python is required (i.e. attending the Intro to Python workshop) as well as a UVA Gemini account (https://in.virginia.edu/google-ai).

This session will be taught via Zoom: a link to the Zoom session will be sent in the confirmation and reminder emails.
