Statistics in R: ANOVA and Chi-Square

Statistics in R: ANOVA and Chi-Square

This workshop will cover two statistical concepts used to compare groups, the Chi-Square test and ANOVA. The Chi-Square test allows you to compare the relationship between two categorical variables, while the ANOVA allows you to compare the means of several groups. In this workshop you will learn about how to use R to check the prerequisites for running these tests, how to run the proper test in R, how to describe the results of both tests, and how to properly visualize the results of the tests.

Prerequisites: attendance at previous R workshops or intermediate knowledge of R and R Studio
