By now you’re probably familiar with Virtual Reality and its applications for not only healthcare, but for everyday life. However, you may be unclear about the differences in VR headsets (Tethered? Untethered? Smartphone-based?). Join Kimberley to learn more about the different types of headsets, their capabilities, necessary peripherals, price ranges, etc. This presentation will be especially helpful for those who are planning to purchase a VR headset for their departmental or personal use. By the end of this learning opportunity, participants will be able to define “virtual reality:” describe the differences between several different VR headsets; and list the pros and cons of different VR headsets. Due to classroom size, this session is limited to 10 participants (1 CME credit)
