The goal of the meditation is to facilitate physical and mental relaxation allowing mindfulness to become a part of everyday life . This reduces stress and increases feelings of well being, and compassion for oneself and others. Present moment awareness trains the brain to better focus on the task at hand facilitating clearer decision making.
