Automated Image Analysis with ImageJ
This workshop is intended to be an introduction to open source (free) image analysis and statistical software to life science researchers with little to no programming experience. During the workshop, participants will learn: 1) basics of ImageJ; 2) using ImageJ to analyze scientific images (such as Western blot or immunofluorescent images), 3) analyze large numbers of immunofluorescence staining images with minimal human error.
By the end of the workshop, participants will understand basic image analyzing concepts and several basic computing skills (such as macros and scripting) and be able to adapt codes found online to meet their own research needs.
