Automated Image Analysis with ImageJ
This workshop is intended to be an introduction to open source (free) image analysis and statistical softwares to life science researchers with little to no programming experience. During the workshop, participants will learn: 1), basic of ImageJ; 2), using ImageJ to analyze scientific images (such as Western blot, Immunoflurencent images); 3), analyze large numbers of immunofluorescence staining images with minimal human error with ImageJ. By the end of the workshop, participants will understand basic image analyzing concepts and several basic computing skills (such as macros and scripting) and be able to adapt codes found online to meet their own research needs.
